What is Superwhisper?

Superwhisper is an AI dictation app for macOS, Windows, iOS and Android. It turns spoken input into formatted text and pastes it into the app you are using, including email, messaging tools and coding assistants. It supports more than 100 languages and dialects, with an option to translate speech into English.

Users can dictate with push-to-talk controls or custom shortcuts, add names and specialist terms to a personal vocabulary, and choose preset modes for different writing tasks. Custom modes let users set tone, formatting rules, structure and prompts, while model selection offers a choice of cloud and local processing. Super Mode uses screen context to adapt the output.
