Pricing

Browsing Toolocate is free, and so is listing a tool. Makers of AI tools can pay to get reviewed faster or to be seen more. Every purchase is a one-time payment in US dollars: there are no subscriptions and nothing renews.

Listings

  • Free, $0. Submit your tool; we check it and add it in an upcoming weekly batch.
  • Basic, $19 one-time. We check your tool as soon as you pay; if it passes, it goes live the same day, and you can edit its description from your dashboard.
  • Pro, $49 one-time. Everything in Basic, plus a highlighted card labeled “Featured” and a place in the Featured row on the home page.

Paying doesn't guarantee a listing: paid tools go through the same check as free ones, and we refund you in full if your tool doesn't pass or isn't live within 14 days. Every listed tool gets the same link to its website, paid or not. Submit a tool.

Ads, by the day

  • Site-wide banner, $9 per day. One line above the content on every page, in every language.
  • Home page, $10 per day. A sponsored card next to Editor's picks, right under the search box.
  • Category pages, $6 per day. A sponsored card at the top of category and group pages, where people compare tools that do the same job.
  • Tool pages, $5 per day. A sponsored card in the sidebar of tool pages, next to the listing people are reading.

One advertiser per placement per day. Book from 1 day ahead up to 90 days ahead (calendar days in UTC), then add your ad in your dashboard; we check every ad before it runs. Ads are labeled “Ad” and their links are marked as sponsored. Cancel before your first booked day for a full refund. Book a placement.

Payment, taxes and refunds

Payments are processed by Waffo Pancake, the merchant of record for our orders; charges appear on your card statement as WAFFO. Prices exclude taxes; any applicable tax is added at checkout. The full refund rules are in our Terms of Service. Questions: [email protected].
